The Station is a unique destination in the heart of Newcastle featuring a newly revamped outdoor area on the former railway platform. It has been transformed into a lively hub incorporating eclectic retail spaces, local art galleries, food stalls, and pop-up attractions, including a kids’ corner, scooter track, and ‘The Flyer’ train.

Engenicom is engaged as the Place Manager for The Station, responsible for project management and activation activities in line with The Station Strategic Activation Framework.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing event bookings and activations to enhance community engagement.
• Managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating commercial programming to drive economic viability and growth.
• Administering budgets and financial controls to optimise operations.
• Overseeing site operations, including liquor licensing and DA condition compliance.
• Engaging with the local community and fostering partnerships to support long-term activation success.

Engenicom’s role ensures The Station remains a thriving and inclusive space for Newcastle residents and visitors, activating the precinct as a key cultural and social landmark.
