Transport for NSW’s Transport Access Program (TAP) provides station upgrades across NSW to improve accessibility, safety, and passenger experience. The Point Clare Station upgrade focused on enhancing facilities for passengers with disabilities, parents with prams, and customers with luggage, improving safety and accessibility for all users.
Engenicom was engaged by Transport for NSW as Project Manager for the Point Clare Train Station Upgrade.

Key responsibilities included:

  • Management of Contractor Site Works:
    • Monitoring daily construction activities to ensure quality and safety compliance.
    • Ensuring works were delivered in accordance with approved designs and methodologies.
    • Reviewing methodologies for working around live infrastructure and assets.
    • Chairing weekly/fortnightly project team meetings.
  • Safety Assurance and Compliance:
    • Facilitating the Configuration Change Management process.
    • Coordinating the submission and review of safety assurance documentation between the contractor and TfNSW.
  • Project Handover Management:
    • Overseeing defect closure between the contractor, TfNSW, and relevant stakeholders.
    • Coordinating submission of final project completion and handover documentation.
    • Managing the closure of the Asset Information Deliverable Form for Sydney Trains handover.
