Over the years, he has been actively involved in a wide range of projects spanning ARTC rail initiatives, local government council works, the mining sector and private developments. Aaron’s practical background as both an Operator and Supervisor gives him a strong foundation in hands on operations, coupled with the leadership capability to guide and manage teams effectively in the field.

Aaron is known for his commitment to quality workmanship and his focus on maintaining safe working environments. His strong communication skills enable him to build strong working relationships with contractors and subcontractors alike, ensuring that operational practices and procedures are carried out in full compliance with project requirements. His formal training and certifications include multiple trade qualifications, safety accreditations and machine competencies.

Adam is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience in the road, rail, and civil construction industries. As Divisional Manager – Construction Management at Engenicom, Adam oversees a team delivering expertise across diverse sectors. He has extensive experience managing and delivering multidisciplinary projects, including rail, light rail, road pavements, civil earthworks, bridges, and utilities.

Specialising in contractor management, compliance, and managing client capital projects from development to execution and handover, Adam has collaborated on high-profile projects for ARTC, Transport for NSW, RMS, and local councils. Allan is a seasoned project professional with over 20 years of experience managing large-scale building, civil, and environmental projects. As Divisional Manager of Project Management at Engenicom, he leads a team of over 15 project managers and engineers, delivering successful outcomes for clients across, Property, Infrastructure, Resources & Energy, and Disaster Recovery sectors.

Allan has overseen high-profile initiatives, including the Scone CBD Revitalisation, Newcastle Urban Transformation Projects, and several key projects for ARTC in the Hunter Valley. His civil engineering background and strong communication skills enable him to engage stakeholders effectively, foster collaboration, and deliver innovative solutions.

Angela is an experienced professional providing seamless administrative, executive, and customer support. With a background spanning financial, mining, and construction industries, Angela brings a wealth of expertise to her role at Engenicom.

As Business Support Officer, Angela supports the management team and board with operational efficiency. Her responsibilities include document preparation, HR administration, internal communications, and organising internal events. Angela also plays a critical role in maintaining Engenicom’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Angela has qualifications in Business, Financial Services, and Human Resources and is skilled in various systems, including Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, and bespoke software. Her attention to detail and ability to foster engagement make her an invaluable asset to Engenicom’s team.

Ashley is a skilled Project Engineer with extensive experience in site coordination, project reporting and contract administration. He has a proven track record in managing contractor claims and administration, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects across the infrastructure sector.

Currently, Ashley is working on the City of Newcastle landfill remediation project at Astra Street, where he oversees contractor management, site coordination, and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Previously he served as Project Engineer on the Hydro Kurri Kurri Smelter Infrastructure Demolition project, managing safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Ashley’s experience includes significant roles on Transport for NSW projects, such as the Transport Access Program and Newcastle Light Rail, where he contributed to contractor management and project reporting, demonstrating his ability to deliver high-quality results in complex environments.

Ashley has a Bachelor of Construction Management from the University of Newcastle, along with certifications in occupational health and safety and rail industry compliance.

Bob is a highly experienced Management Systems Specialist with over 30 years in civil construction, rail, quarrying, public infrastructure, and mining. He excels in designing, implementing, and managing Environmental, Quality, and WHS systems, delivering exceptional HSEQ outcomes.

A certified Lead Auditor since 2005, Bob has extensive expertise in both project audits and organisational system audits, supporting compliance and continuous improvement across diverse sectors. His work spans auditing rail, engineering, and resource projects, as well as evaluating corporate systems to ensure alignment with regulatory and business standards.

With qualifications in Auditing, Training, Business, and WHS Management Systems, Bob combines strategic thinking with practical experience, enabling organisations to manage risks and enhance performance. His proven ability to navigate complex frameworks makes him an invaluable partner for achieving operational excellence.

Caleb is a final-year Construction Management student at the University of Newcastle, completing his Work Integrated Learning placement with Engenicom through the School of Architecture and Built Environment. He joins the team three days a week while completing his industry experience.

During his placement, Caleb will gain exposure to various stages of project delivery and consulting services including spending time on the Wollombi Road Upgrade Project (Stage 1) with Cessnock City Council, Astra Street Landfill Project, the Newcastle Art Gallery Expansion project and the Lismore Flood Restoration Portfolio (Lismore City Council).

Caleb brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a strong work ethic, qualities we value as we support the next generation of construction professionals through structured mentoring.

Chris is an accomplished Project Manager and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with over 20 years’ experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across government and private sectors. He brings extensive expertise in TfNSW road construction systems and has led high-performing teams on complex projects such as the Newcastle Inner City Bypass and the Mayfield 4 Berth Facility.

Chris is currently the lead Project Manager for the Wollombi Road Upgrade Project (Stage 1) for Cessnock City Council and serves as Discipline Lead Civil at Engenicom. In this role, he mentors a team of project managers and engineers, supports strategic and business development initiatives, and contributes to job management and IMS compliance.

Known for his practical leadership and strong stakeholder engagement skills, Chris is committed to developing others and delivering exceptional outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) from the University of Newcastle.

Christian is a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer with over 14 years in the civil construction industry, specialising in road and transport infrastructure. He has delivered complex projects for Transport for NSW and private clients across NSW, including the Hexham Straight Widening Alliance, Newcastle Inner City Bypass, and Singleton Bypass.

Christian is skilled in traffic staging, stakeholder coordination, and managing subcontractor delivery in both greenfield and brownfield environments. His expertise includes concrete structures, drainage, and pavement works under challenging site conditions, with a proactive focus on interface risk and staging.

He holds a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) and brings a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to every project. Christian’s ability to lead teams and deliver safely and efficiently makes him a valuable asset to Engenicom’s infrastructure delivery team.

Christina is a CPA-qualified professional with broad expertise across finance, procurement, compliance, contract management and internal audit. With experience spanning the public and private sectors as well as her own businesses, she brings a strong mix of strategic insight, commercial acumen and operational capability. Her core strengths include financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and business improvement.

Christina has led financial and compliance functions, managed complex procurement and infrastructure programs and driven commercial performance through detailed reporting, modelling and contract negotiation. Christina has successfully reduced costs, improved margins, developed performance dashboards and contributed to high value government submissions and tenders.

Earlier in her career, Christina gained foundational experience in audit and fund accounting while also launching and managing consumer brands. Her end-to-end understanding of financial operations, combined with strong analytical and leadership skills, enables her to deliver value across a range of business environments.

Daniel is a highly skilled Project Manager with over 20 years of experience in construction and project management. His expertise spans residential, commercial, and government builds, as well as large-scale fit-outs and infrastructure projects. Daniel has a proven ability to manage complex contracts, lead multidisciplinary teams, and build strong client and stakeholder relationships.

He currently serves as a client representative for the $46M Newcastle Art Gallery extension, administering a tailored GC21 contract and overseeing quality control and progress on-site. Daniel is also Discipline Lead Building at Engenicom. In this role, he mentors a team of project managers and engineers, supports strategic and business development initiatives, and contributes to job management and IMS compliance.

Daniel has certifications in Building and Construction and multiple project management tools, including Procore and Databuild. His collaborative leadership style, focus on quality outcomes, and dedication to meeting deadlines make him a valuable asset to every project team.

David Cocking is a highly experienced Project Manager with over 25 years of expertise delivering major infrastructure projects across road, rail, and civil sectors in Australia and the UK. With a background in civil engineering, David has worked with Tier One contractors and government organisations, including Transport for NSW and Local Government Agencies.

David has contributed to some of Australia’s most iconic projects, including the Newcastle Light Rail, Newcastle Interchange, Barangaroo Headland Park, and Port Botany Terminal 3. His expertise spans contract administration, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and project closeout, ensuring seamless delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.

This includes overseeing 350 diverse projects, ranging from geotechnical roadworks to building refurbishments, while managing a team of 80. His work emphasises transparent community engagement and trust-building to deliver impactful outcomes.

As Managing Director of Engenicom, Josh leverages his extensive experience in construction and client-side project management to drive organisational growth and innovative thinking. Currently, Matthew supports Lismore City Council’s disaster recovery, managing the $50M+ GC21 contract for over 60 buildings and securing $15M in additional funding. His strengths include contract negotiation, financial control, procurement, and dispute resolution, backed by a proven record across EPC, EPCM, and alliance contracts.
