Quality Policy

Purpose

This Policy forms part of Engenicom’s Quality Management System that has been developed to comply with AS/NZS ISO 9001 and sets out the policies, processes and standards to meet or exceed internal, external, compliance and industry requirements.

Objective

Engenicom is committed to achieving or exceeding the expectations of our customers and will continue to maintain its reputation through the provision of quality products and services. Engenicom will achieve this by:

  • Implementing and maintaining the Engenicom Quality Management System to satisfy the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001.
  • Identifying non-conformities and taking appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establishing and monitoring objectives and targets against our quality performance.
  • Undertaking management reviews of the Engenicom Quality Management System to continually improve its effectiveness and suitability.
  • Providing adequate resources to maintain the Engenicom Quality Management System.
  • Providing the required resources and training to enable workers to participate in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Engenicom Quality Management System.
  • Encouraging employees to contribute to opportunities to improve the processes and procedures of the Engenicom Quality Management System.
  • Ensuring that senior management takes accountability for the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and monitors customer and legislative requirements to maintain compliance and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Determining our, and our customers, climate change risks and, if relevant, manage consequential risk accordingly.
Responsibilities

  • Management: Ensure the implementation and maintenance of the QMS, conduct regular quality audits, review quality objectives annually, and monitor customer and legislative requirements.
  • Employees: Adhere to the QMS, participate in continual improvement efforts, report non-conformities, and suggest improvements.

Health and Safety Policy

Purpose

This Policy forms part of Engenicom’s Quality Management System and has been developed to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of all Engenicom workers, contractors, and visitors through education, communication, and a robust WHS Management System.

Objective

Engenicom is committed to maintaining a safe work environment by implementing and continuously improving our WHS Management System. We will achieve this by:

  • Implementing and maintaining Engenicom’s WHS Management System to satisfy the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 45001 and aligning our processes and practices with all legal health and safety requirements.
  • Setting specified WHS objectives and targets, reviewing our performance annually and ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Resourcing and implementing health and safety procedures and programs including providing suitable equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) for all tasks and activities.
  • Fostering a safety-oriented culture through regular communication and consultation with workers, contractors, and stakeholders, and providing required health and safety training.
  • Maintaining a readily available WHS Management System and regularly monitoring our performance.
  • Investigating hazard reports and ensuring prompt corrective actions and maintaining quick communication and response to incidents, hazards, and risks.
  • Educating and communicating with visitors to ensure their safety during their time on our worksites.
  • Maintaining a culture where any employee can ‘Stop-The-Job’ if a situation presents an imminent and serious danger without fear of retribution.
  • Ensuring that safety is not compromised due to time, financial, or other constraints.
  • Determining our, and our customers, climate change risks and, if relevant, manage consequential risk accordingly.

  • Management: Implement and maintain the WHS Management System, ensure legal compliance, set and review targets annually, provide resources and training, foster a safety culture, and monitor performance for improvement.
  • Employees and Contractors: Employees and Contractors: Adhere to the WHS Management System, comply with legislation, participate in safety training, report hazards, integrate safe practices, and exercise the right to ‘Stop-The-Job’ without fear.

Environmental Policy

Purpose

This Policy forms part of Engenicom’s Quality Management System and has been developed to ensure that Engenicom meets its environmental responsibilities by managing all sites under our control in an environmentally sustainable and responsible manner.

Objective

Engenicom is committed to educating its employees and contractors and implementing environmentally sustainable practices to minimise our environmental impact. Engenicom will achieve this by:

  • Implementing and maintaining the Engenicom Environmental Management System to satisfy the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001.
  • Conducting all operations in compliance with relevant environmental legislation, regulations, licenses, and other requirements.
  • Preventing pollution and achieving continual improvement in environmental performance through economically viable practices on all Engenicom-controlled sites.
  • Reducing the environmental impact of the products we make by considering resource inputs and production methods while meeting consumer quality expectations.
  • Setting specific environmental objectives and targets and reviewing our performance annually.
  • Improving energy, water, and waste efficiency on all Engenicom-controlled sites.
  • Communicating openly and constructively with our workers, suppliers, customers, government, and community about our environmental practices.
  • Educating our workers on environmental responsibilities to ensure that a sustainable approach is integrated into work practices, training, decision-making, and performance assessment.
