The Brine Treatment Plant and Landfill Project is designed to enhance salt management processes at Bayswater by developing a brine treatment plant at the existing water treatment facility and constructing a dedicated landfill for the safe disposal of waste. The project supports AGL’s commitment to sustainable waste management and regulatory compliance.

Engenicom was engaged to supplement the owner’s team by providing strategic transaction and commercial management services. Our involvement has been instrumental in ensuring a streamlined procurement and contract negotiation process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing the sourcing strategy, including managing the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase, tender evaluation, negotiation process, and contract award.
• Preparing scope of works documentation, contract schedules, and procurement documentation.
• Liaising with legal advisors to establish an ECI Contract and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contract for the Brine Treatment Plant, as well as an EPC + Operate & Maintain contract for the Landfill facility.
• Conducting interactive tendering processes and facilitating workshops with tenderers to ensure alignment with project objectives.
