Disaster Recovery Facility Warabrook

Providing end to end project management services for the successful delivery of a new facility.

ARTC developed a Disaster Recovery facility at 3 Warabrook Boulevard to support the Hunter Valley Network Control Centre (NCCN). The new facility serves as an operational backup for the NCCN, a training hub for network controllers, and a meeting space in addition to other functions.

Engenicom was engaged to oversee the design, fit-out and coordination of all aspects of the facility development, including:

• Create a fit-out brief
• Manage the design development
• Manage the project budget
• Monitor progress
• Ensure milestones are met
• Contractor selection
• Risk management
• Coordination with consultants and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with ARTC requirements

The Engenicom team also managed approvals, defect rectification, quality compliance, and reporting. The engagement required us to act as a liaison between ARTC and the landlord managing legal and contractual matters and ensuring timely completion of the project within budget and schedule.
